Irreverent Skateboards has landed at the Underground. Owned by a local South Pasadena local, Mark, Irreverent brings a “Comic Book Esque” touch to their graphics. Ninja Turtles and GI Joe are the first two graphics he pays homage too and we look forward to what will come in the future from him. Support the local and small business.
We have been using the microwave for years to break in our shoes. We would typically put them in the microwave for 1 minute and take them out and bend and twist them. Break in time is non existent when you do this technique. This was our first Emerica shoe and so when the label on the tongue burst into flames, we flipped the fuck out. We pulled them out of the microwave and saved them before the whole shoe turned into one giant flame. So there is a gold stitching that caught fire on the tongue. So the lesson here: make sure you check the stitching before you use this technique. Otherwise you may just burn up all your money on a pair of shoes that you won’t be able to skate.
