The Ellis draws inspiration from classic court shoes, featuring a perfect blend of style and function. Skateboarders have shown a fondness of court sneakers for decades, and this silhouette is no different. Simple, stylish lines along with well-defined branding make this team shoe an instant classic. Including a LUX-LITE™ sock liner, and CO-BOUND™ rubber-backed suede for extra durability, the Ellis is a cut above your average court classic. The most outstanding feature on this model however is its dual toe bumper, providing extra life while simultaneously making it stand out on the shelf and in the streets.
We are proudly now selling Lakai LTD. we started out with three of the best styles from Lakai. The MJ (Now titles the Daily), Owens Slip on and Griffin XLK.
We have been using the microwave for years to break in our shoes. We would typically put them in the microwave for 1 minute and take them out and bend and twist them. Break in time is non existent when you do this technique. This was our first Emerica shoe and so when the label on the tongue burst into flames, we flipped the fuck out. We pulled them out of the microwave and saved them before the whole shoe turned into one giant flame. So there is a gold stitching that caught fire on the tongue. So the lesson here: make sure you check the stitching before you use this technique. Otherwise you may just burn up all your money on a pair of shoes that you won’t be able to skate.
